Unfortunatly for some with the dark nights and mornings can also come depression or anxiety.

What better way to lift your Spirit's than to inject a splash of colour to your wardrobe.

We all know that bright colours can really lift our spirits no matter how we are feeling and now we know that colour can actually help balance our Chakra/energy system bringing balance and harmony and improving our mood.

I have been making scarves for friends and family now for sometime and I have noticed how particular colours can affect the wearer's daily mood.

Of course you don't have to have an imbalance in any of your Chakra to enjoy one of my scarves and the multi coloured scarves can give as much colour therapy as the single coloured one. Simply pick the colour you are most attracted too or one that matches your personality!

My scarves are hand made by myself and each one is made to order.

As a special feature each scarf has a small 'Angel pin' added which has been cleansed and infused with wonderful healing energies. This may even include a birthstone of your choice if you wish to give someone a special gift!

Chakra Colour Chart!

Base Chakra – Red / Brown / Black – Located at the base of the spine, this is the foci of physical vitality and stabilising energy. Helps to keep you grounded and connected to mother earth. Relates to skin, bones, growth, security, stability, ability to stay and work things out. Can become unbalanced if we are overly concerned with earthly issues like money, power etc. This chakra is responsible for aggression in people who's chakra is too open or over stimulated.

Sacral Chakra – Orange – Located just below the navel, it affects the adrenal glands and it’s the foci for personal development and sexuality. Relates to reproductive organs. organs responsible for waste elimination, emotions relating to family/loved ones. When this chakra becomes unbalanced we may suffer from sexual problems (either way), inability to conceive. Creativity blocks. Free expression dificulties etc.   

Solar Plexus – Yellow / Gold / light Orange – Located just above the navel, it affects metabolic and vital energy; psychological and emotional energy flow and the ability to complete. Relates to liver, pancreas, diaphram, spleen, stomach, upper digestive system. If it becomes imbalance it can affetc how we react to situaltions and is the root of problems like: Anxiety, depression, feelings of fear, courage, ability or inability to finish tasks, staying power, fight or flight mechanism.

Heart Chakra - Pink or Green- Located on the sternum over the heart, it relates to being able to receive and give love freely, higher spiritual experience of compassion and clairsentience (gut feeling). This is the fourth chakra and is the beginning of our attachment to Divinity.

Reates to all matters of the heart. Lower respirity organs. Ability to give and receive love freely. If this chakra becomes imbalanced we maybe unable to accept love without guilt, give love without resentment or experience true love for ourselves.

Throat Chakra – Blue – Located near the thyroid gland, it affects communication with others and relates to the cycle of giving and receiving to all that surrounds you. Relates to respiritory organs. Throat, nose, mouth, ears. Gives us the wisdom to speak lovingly from the heart with true meaning. If unbalanced can reslut in many physical illnesses like throat/ear infections. Colds, flu, respiritory and general infections. We may also become too soft with others and unable to tell them when they are hurting us or it could go the other way and we could say hurtful things that we dont really mean! 

Third Eye Chakra - Indigo / Purple – Located slightly above and between the eyebrows, it provides you with a strong sense of purpose and/or intuition. Relates to major gands in the brain, intuition, self talk, natural endorphins and self awareness. If this chakra becomes inbalanced we may suffer from hormonal problems, lack of self guidance, inability to make decisions and stick to them, migraine headaches, visual disturbances, ear infections, vertigo and balance both physically and mentally.

Crown Chakra – Violet / White – Located at the very top of your head, it gives the ability to recognise self-actualisation. Known for Intuition, clarity of mind, enlightenment and spirituality it gives you the sense of harmony and happiness for what you have achieved. Also linked with the endocrine system. This chakra is linked directly with the Divine and if it becomes inbalanced it can affect the amount of vital life force energy we receive. Few people achieve true balance within this chakra but once achieved it is said that person can know total relaxation and peace of mind. They can freely converse with Spirit and are at one with themselves and the world. Something we can all strive for!
